holidays oveeeer

Huomen kouluuuu ! lomat on ohiiii.
Toi vika loma viikko oli vähä pyllyst ku sato KOKO ajan, oikeesti ei järkee.
Yks päivä oli iha hirveeen kuuma ja olin jo innossani paistuu auringos ja sit samana iltana jossain 4 aikaa alko iha hirvee myrsky. Hahahah ja yks kaveri oli vaa facebookis et joo ooks kotonas, ja olin et joo mitenniii ja tää oli vaa et joo kato takapihalles nii näät sellasen tornadon näkösen jutun. Ette varmasti usko miten paniikkiin menin =) juoksin ympäri taloo ja yritin kattoo joka ikkunast et missä se on ja miten iso se on ja yritin miettii et mitä mun pitää tehä jne. Sit kirjotin sille et oooks tosissas et tornaado oikeesti?! ja se oli vaa et no en mä usko et se on tornado mut näyttää siltä ja sit kysyin mun toiselt kaverilt siit et miltä se näyttää niii sit se oli vaa et ei me saaha niit. Mut hei kiva säikytellä viatonta suomalaista tollee : <
Nojoo mut alkuviikosta lähinnä vaa hengasin tääl talos, olin jumis täällä ku mul ei ollu puhelimes yhtää puheaikaa, etten voinu tekstaa tai soittaa kellekään mut sit elämä parani ku mun host-mummi läks käyttää mua kaupungis ostaa sitä :)) Kävin kattoo tomorrow when the war began, oli iha mieeletön hyvä! Sit perjantaina menin Port Macquarieen mun host-äidin kaa ku se työskentelee siel. Näin Nanii, Pawamonii, Emilyy ja Charlottee, vaihtareit jotka asuu kaikki siel. Oli yyyberiii, käytii shoppaa ja leffois, eat pray love, seki oli hyvä ! mut joo ja löysin kaikkee kivaa mut en liikaa täl kertaa =)
Sit lauantaina menin Coffs harbourii yhen rotaryn ja sen tytön kaa, ne meni sinne luistelee, hahah ei oikeeesti mitä oon ollu tääl sen 11 viikkoo nyt ja käyny kahesti tänä aikana luistelee? Jotain mitä mä en oottanu tekeväni ku tulin tännne :----D
Sit menin mun kavereiden kaa yksii partyihi. Voin kertooo et oli hulluu, tai siis ei muute mut siin talos oli ainaki se 150 ihmistä, haha ja tunsin sen 7 sielt? mut joo isoimmat partyt mis oon ikinä ollu. Sit oli niin hyvä ku olin kävelee yhen mun kaverin kaa siel ja yks poika tuli vaa et hei sori ooks sä se tyttö siit artikkelist et se tyttö tanskast? Olin vaa et jooo mut suomest tosi. Sit se oli vaa et toi on niiin siiistii et sun artikkeli on kuuluisa tääl et katoin vaa et kävelit ohi et eiii hitto toi on se artikkeli tyttö ! (Nii siis en tiiä et oonks jo kirjottanu mut mun piti tehä artikkeli lehtee mun täällä olosta, laitan sen tohon loppuu kokonaa)
Ja sit se huus kavereillesa et heiii tää on se tyttö suomeest ja sit hahah pieni maailma yks sen kavereist oli mun englannin opettajan poika. No mut jooo, oli mun artikkelist sit vissii jotain hyötyy ku tutustui muutamaan ihmiseen eri koulust sen takiiii :DD Ne oli siis st. paulist, kempseyn ainoost yksityiskoulust.
Mun koulu on siis maineeltaan pahin näist tääl, se tunnetaan lähinnä sen tappeluist mitä siel tosiaa on muutama :-----D mut heii kelpaa mullle, ei ainakaa liia tiukkaa oo koulus..
Sitsit öö no tänään olin siivooo south west rockseil. Siel oli kaikki kempseyn kolme rotary clubii siivoo maata, ne yrittää saaha sitä myytyy, mä sit revin siel jotain ruohikkoo ja tälläst... kaikki oli vaa et ben (mun host-isä) on julma ku laitto mut sinne, ku se on ite nyt kattoo jotain rallii jossaki 8 tunnin päässä kempseyst. Sit näin yhtä norjalaista vaihtariiki ku senki klubi oli siel, tosi se tuli vaa lounaalle samperi, sen ei tarvinnu tehä mitää työt -.-''
OH kiiiitos heidi toivanen että käskit minua kirjoittamaan tännnnne ! oh ei tarvii nyt kirjottaa romaaaniii ku kirjotin viimeks viikko sit ! :))) wipiiijei.
mut joo huomen kouluuu. mikä on aika jeees ku pääsee näkee kaikkii taaas ja ollaan koulun vanhimpii ! oon year 12 girliii then ;))) nicee
ainiii ja se juttu minkä kirjotin lehteen lopuks;

Imagine that: You live in small town and you go to a small school where you know everybody from your year and you know everything about them. You can’t go to a shop without recognizing someone and you could walk in your town without even looking where to go and you would still find the right place. Then you move 15000 kilometers far away from your home, to a new country where you don’t know anybody, where people don’t even speak the same language as you and where you can’t walk even 500 meters from town without getting lost. You get a new family, new friends, new language, new area, climate, lifestyle and everything! Sounds hard, eh? Well that is me, or actually it was. Now after 7 weeks and 5 days in this place, Kempsey, starts to feel more like home every day. Now I know many people and I have great friends and great family, a home where I feel comfortable to live at. I know my way from Target to McDonalds and I know where to go when I need something. English comes easier every day, and now it doesn’t take 5 minutes to say one sentence anymore. In school I know almost all the time where to go and what happens next, but almost all the time, I still get lost sometimes. I’m used to school uniform and that I have to bring my own lunch, but gates are still uncomfortable, but I think I’ll get used to them at some time.
Being an exchange student is sometimes hard, but I can still say that I’m living my dream.
There are challenging things all the time, like jet lag at first, going to a strange school, catching the school bus, and of course using English in new situations, but this is what being an exchange student is all about. The key word is: ADAPT. Adapt on everything and learn to handle new and strange situations.
Luckily I don’t have to do everything by myself; I have people helping me all the time in all situations, which makes it much easier.
This really is an amazing opportunity, I can meet new awesome people like I already have, learn to speak another language, learn a different culture, see a world from a different angle, and of course having heaps of fun!
I could write so long trying to describe what it was like to come here, to wait in Sydney’s airport for a flight to Port Macquarie and to see Australia. But I can’t actually, I don’t know how to describe it, it’s something you have to experience by yourself to know, all I can say that it was kind of scary and exciting at the same time and so hard to stay awake!
In Finland it’s autumn now, temperatures have gone to under zero already. It’s also getting darker, trees are dropping leaves and everybody is getting ready for a winter when temperatures are normally minus twenty, last winter it was minus forty for a couple of days. So I think you can believe when I say that I’m really happy to be here right now… Trust me, really happy!
I can’t wait for the summer, I’m going to replace snowboarding by sandboarding and surfing, even I don’t know how to do it yet. But I’m going to try, definitely.
Everything is actually different compared to Finland. You drive on the wrong side of the road, which is hard to get used to, seasons are opposites to Finland’s, your winter is our summer and your summer is our winter. And of course there is that little temperature difference. You also have some poisonous spiders and snakes that I’m so scared of and in Finland Kangaroos aren’t jumping in backyards. Beaches of Finland compared to the beaches of Australia…compare Kempsey to Sydney, same thing.
This time has gone very quickly and there have been very good and also challenging situations.
I’m so proud and happy to be an exchange student in Kempsey, I’m very grateful for this opportunity and I want to thank Rotary for that, I’m doing the best I can to make my Exchange year unforgettable.
